Settlement for Family Members

Settlement Applications for Family Member in the UK

Family members who have completed a qualifying period of residence in the UK, typically under a Spouse, Civil Partner, Unmarried Partner, Parent, or Child visa, may be eligible to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR). This allows the holder to live, work, and study in the UK without immigration restrictions.

Settlement as a family member is available after five or ten years, depending on the route and whether all immigration requirements have been consistently met. Applicants must also satisfy knowledge of English language requirement, and pass the Life in the UK Test.

At Angelov Solicitors, we support clients in preparing well-evidenced, compliant ILR applications for family members. Whether you are applying as a spouse, parent, or child, we help ensure your application is accurate, complete, and submitted with confidence.
